About XSiRC

XSiRC is an Internet Relay Chat network that provides reliable IRC services to the Internet community.

For those of you familiar with IRC, we provide a stable, ircd-ratbox network with 12 servers spread throughout North America and Europe. XSIRC does not provide channel or nickname registration through services, preferring to maintain a "first-come, first-served" approach for its users (CHANFIX is available to assist with established channels that become opless). In addition, many servers offer connections via SSL and/or support IPv6.

For those of you unfamiliar, IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat" is a way to communicate via realtime chat with people from all over the world. You can obtain more information about the history of IRC and how it works from:

If you like you can start chatting right away by using our Webchat feature or by downloading an IRC client:

Help is available for all users of XSIRC by joining #help or by issuing the command "/stats p" (without quotes) to find an active staff member on your server.
